Meet Andy and Fiona…

Fiona (a local lass) from the town of Dumbarton and Andy (a retired Lieutenant Colonel) and a keen swimmer are now enjoying living life on Loch Lomond and look forward to welcoming you into their home.

Waters Edge Cottage, formerly Auchendennan Rhye, the hunting estate of Robert the Bruce.

A great place to relax and enjoy Loch Lomond. Watch the swans and ducks swim by or enjoy a morning dip in the loch just a few steps away from your room.

From Waters Edge, there is a wonderful 30 minutes Lochside walk to the nearest village of Balloch. En route you can choose to eat or have a cocktail in some of the best restaurants in the west of Scotland.

Alternatively, you can walk 15 minutes north and take the boat to Inchmurrin Island for dinner – a lovely summer’s night out.

Waters Edge Cottage is in close proximity to the popular wedding venues of Cameron House Hotel and The Cruin and is only a taxi ride to Boturich Castle.

Duck Bay Hotel is a few minutes walk from the cottage and serves breakfast is from 9am.
